I play in an acoustic duo who, (more often than not), have to set up in quite a small area when gigging and we haven’t got the space to have stage monitors a few metres in front of us, where the angle of the cabinet can point up towards out ears and we can hear them. So, the big plus about the Flat M8 - and the main reason I bought it - is that the speaker is angled upwards, so it can be placed right at the foot of the mic stand and it throws the sound straight up towards the singer. I’ve only used it twice but it does exactly what I bought it for and without feeding back. The EQ and volume controls are on the front, right where you need them and the whole unit seems to be robust and well constructed with a handy integrated handle moulded into the unit. I maybe could have got away with the Flat M100 but opted for the 8inch speaker version of this series to give a bit more bass, So far so good 😊
