Great case for downsizing
kekskiller 05.12.2019
I bought this case as both an upgrade and a productive downgrade from the way-too-shallow 4ms pods I was using before (which formed a total of 104HP). It has just the right depth for most compact to mid sized modules but more bulky ones simply don't fit (older Doepfer modules for example). Nevertheless, for the price and additional feature set it's well worth the money.

Especially when dowsizing from a bigger setup, the added 1U helps you to keep utilities to utilities and focus on the sound-shaping modules you really need for what you wan to achieve. Can't recommend this highly enough! My only beef with it is that the multiple jacks are kinda clicky and don't feel as well-made as the normal Intellijel modules. I guess they'll break in over time, but it's still a bit concerning until that happens.

ya
great
young atlantean 28.10.2019
Just got the time to try it yesterday, the installation was very easy. The case has a perfect size for the road, the sound is very clean and the construction quality is top-notch. I've got a synthesizer voice, a keystep keyboard and an echosystem pedal, the whole thing with cables, sustain pedal and power supplies fits in a DSI prophet module case, really neat!

Vo
Great build, but it's a bit hard to swap modules
V of Londor 12.06.2023
I'm really happy with it - it's a great case that both has lots of connectivity options and simply looks nice.

However, a couple of things to keep in mind before you get it:
1) You will need extra Intellijel 1U modules to fully use that connectivity (Intellijel Designs Stereo Out 1U for the stereo out and Intellijel Designs MIDI 1U for the MIDI connectivity).

2) The power sources are placed at the very top beyond the 1U row. So, in order to swap modules easily you either have to keep the power cables attache to the case rather than your modules when swapping or you have to take out every module and the 1U row.

cable management is a bit hard but it is probably the state of the art of backpack skiffs

EJ
Great case, but very shallow
Ed J 11.09.2019
Ordered this case to replace an old Doepfer G-6 case, and figured I'd just dump all my existing modules into it... Unfortunately, this case is _super_ shallow, so even a basic A-110-1 oscillator won't fit!

On the other hand, the built in midi and line in/out is a great idea, and the extra buffered mults are also very nice. The 1U row for Intellijel modules gives some interesting possibilities (they're generally cheaper than their 3U counterparts), and the sizing on the case is perfect, it's about the size of a 15 inch laptop (just much, much thicker!). Oh, and the build quality is really good, although getting modules into the bus board can be a bit fiddly.

Overall, I'd have loved to have kept this, and if you only have slimmer modules I would recommend the case :)

Compact, feature-rich eurorack case
[WZ] 05.10.2022
Robust, shallow and small case. Only 62HP space, BUT... with built-in Multiples and the 1U row for utilities it's capable to pack quite a punch.

The only downside is that you'll need to mix-and-match the 1U modules, and a lot of them are low on stock (waiting for my Quadratt for a few months now..)
