Great product and excellent service from Thomann, as always.
I have used Jargar A and D strings for years as they have a neutral and strong core sound which allows the player to create their own tone. The windings are very fine and feel comfortable under the left hand fingers. Do be careful with the Jargar A as they are prone to snapping if they are put under too much tension when first fitting.
The strings respond very well to changes in bow speed and pressure, and it is easy to create a wide dynamic range. They are also very durable and last well, without loosing their quality soon after fitting, as some strings do.

Good top tier

The Jargar d and a strings are a very good compromise between the basic scholar and the expensive soloist. sound a bit too pure and require somewhat subtle bowing to enrich - but a very good and clean tone!

A quality string.

This is a quality string. Sound and feel for cello strings is very subjective. I now prefer to use different strings, but there is nothing wrong with these ones, and they may suit another player and instrument perfectly.
