I recently bout a Thomann TRF-23 Rotary Flugelhorn and found the stock mouthpiece just a little weird for intonation and hitting notes… being a German Shank horn and not much selection in America I ordered this JK 4D and a Denis Wick 2BFD which I thought I would prefer… It became obvious that while brighter sounding, the JK was still full and rich…

I figured I would try a German MP for the rotary as I have read they just seem to work better on the rotary trumpets. Well, this was sound advice.

My Rotary Thomann is now easier to play in all registers, more reliable in hitting notes, it made the horn much better. Very pleased with the results…

Once again, get your own you can’t have mine!
