Joyo JGE-01 Infinite Sustainer

I realize there are many ambient guitar players that swear by the ebow or this yoyo system, i do not like it. We are not all like chords of orion on youtube, and i can not get used to this, I think its very lump while playing, and there’s no actual feeling that you are playing with anything, beside having a huge device that vibrates the strings if you are lucky …. but if you are just use this during recording sessions, no listener will hear much difference between this or a guitar with a fernanders sustainer or sustainiac system. Then this is a much cheaper option …

But after trying the ebow i opted for the fernandes system, and i now own two guitars, a classic 1980’s fernandes guitar with the sustainiac and a 2021 fender ed o brien stratocaster. I keep The ed o brien at its factory settings while i tweak with its older nephew (yes, you can tweak the sustainer print boards with a screwdriver) and with some fx and imagination you get to uncharted territories and happy lil accidents, just do not forget to press that record button once the jam starts
