Running this alone can more than compete with the majority of pedalboards. The fuzz is probably one of the best I've heard and has several options with the flat/full/scoop switch. Great for Gilmour sounds at reasonable volume but also can deliver some great classic fuzz tones ranging from the fuzz face to a particularly aggressive Big Muff. Also not quite as noisy as some fuzz pedals can be (obviously pickups and environment will have a bearing on this).
The effects/delay side adds great colours to your palette. The Uni-Vibe and rotary settings are my personal favourites but that's not to knock the flanger and phaser which have a good sweep and rate control is very responsive. The delay is emulating tape delay and does so fantastically, not quite as detailed control wise as some dedicated tape style delays but can still get a wide range with all the various tape heads.
Whilst is may seem expensive at first, the range of sounds you can get means that you could comfortably use just this pedal and wouldn't be lacking.

Ein Super Box!!!
Anonymous 28.10.2016
David Gilmour's basic effects setup is well over ¤15000. Unachievable for most of us, but with the Keeley Dark Side I'd say its pretty close! It's got just about everything you would require in one box. The box itself is very well hand crafted and amazingly accurate.
Just one negative point though: during a gig it's fairly impossible to change the fine settings for example the blend and rate since they are dials. In this case you might want to have two boxes running separate for different effects.
Other than that, its a 5 star item.
