As usual Ketron have not quite got it right. This is almost a good replacement for the floppy drive but because of the unusual format it is impractical. You have to have a computer running Windows XP or 7 to use the Ketron software. When you format the USB stick, if you select full format, you can only store the equivalent of one floppy disc. Although it does then allow you to drop files direct onto the USB from the computer. In order to get more files on the USB you need to use Multi format, this gives you 99 folders each equivalent to one floppy. The problem with this is you then have to use the Ketron programme to open each folder to put files in. When you use the stick in the Ketron USB drive you can then open the folders by picking the number using the buttons on the drive. If you are using folder 8 and you take the stick out and put it in the computer to add something, the computer does not recognise it so you have to use the Ketron programme in order to access the folders. Ketron seem to have gone the cheap and easy way to get a USB into their products, I think they should have spent more money making a better product and following every bodyelse where you can play a pattern or song file direct from the USB and not have to load it up, taking time and clogging up pattern memory with lots of patterns then having to delete some because of no more memory. I have played Ketron /Solton for over 30 years I think its now time for a rethink.
