Best Lightweight Solution

I've had issues with my slave pedal slipping or sometimes even the bass drum. This thing outright puts a stop to any of that nonsense. Over the past year or so of using it maybe 7-8 times though, the velcro underneath seems to have lost a bit of that stick. I find myself really pressing down in it or dragging it back and forth until Im confident that ive got enough of a grip. But it's lightweight and fits into all my gear while on tour.

Works as intended, it just sticks to the carpet and won't go.

This thing sticks to everything except drum rug

Sticks well to the carpet in the kitchen, sticks to the carpet in my bedroom.
But it totally doesn't stick to my Drum N Base drum rug. Be aware of this..

It's expensive for what it is and doesn't stick to my thomann drum rug particularly well. Give it a good stamp and it's ok but I've never had much confidence in it.

You're better off chucking something heavy in front of the kick. As a lightweight solution I'd rather anchor the kick to my throne with some rope.
