Very well made and easy to set up. I use it for my BBb Besson New Standard Tuba which sits well and is very sturdy.
It was well packed and delivered very quickly.

All tuba players know the problems of playing such a large instrument. A decent stand is a must (rather than placing on the bell or balancing against a chair). The K&M is a very well made stand that offers pretty good stability balanced against the need to be collapsible and portable (and some makes aren't!). The initial set up is a bit of a faff and you have to be a little careful placing your tuba down but if done correctly this stand does offer decent protection to your tuba in the practice room or on the concert stage. Works best on a flat and level surface; I wouldn't risk it on grass or similar outside uneven ground.

A must for tuba players

Take good care of your expensive tuba. Don?t place it with the bell on the floor.
Easy handling and safe stand. Very useful.

Very practical tuba stand

I use this for a rather large Yamaha BBb tuba and it works very well. The stand is stable and is much more practical than placing the tuba on the bell. Build quality seems good.

I bought this for use when doubling with my tuba and bass trombone. It's really stable to use (on a Beeson 981) and has excellent build quality.

Useful for holding the tuba when I am not blowing on it during practice. When I am not practicing, it is great for displaying my nickel-plated tuba, which does not need a case as silver-plated ones do.
