K&M is my go-to brand for all mic related accessories. Stands, clips, ...
I use this stand mainly in combination with a tablet holder (K&M 19790). The big advantage over a common table stand is that the boom arm lets me position my iPad over/around my drum set.
The stand is stable enough to 'hang' the table +/- half a meter eccentric from the center. Don't have to go much further without counterweight though ...
Pros:
- Perfect price/quality ratio
- Rigid stand, versatile in use
- Boom arm doesn't drop when using a heavy mic (or tablet)
Cons:
- Its light weight, thus not always stable in combination with a table or heavy microphone.

K and M stand review
Anonymous 06.05.2015
Generally I am a fan of these stands. They are robust and well made. However, this one came bundled with a Rhode Mic that I bought for my studio and it hasn't really been up to the task. The NT2-A is fairly heavy and the arm of the mic stand struggles to cope with it if put out at any decent length. Also the fastener that stops the arm from twisting cant cope so its difficult to place the NT2 exactly where I want it. Perhaps I should have bought a different stand but as this one was bundled with it I thought it should suffice. Maybe Thomann could bundle a more suitable mic stand with the NT2? One that can actually hold it where you want it. Would recommend this stand for live vocals and such but have found it a little cumbersome in a studio setting.

Works great with counterweight
Palladio 26.05.2021
Great mic stand. The only problem I had over years of use is that the nut doesn't clamp hard enough to sustain heavy mics in an extended position. Hence the 3 stars for stability. It's an easy fix hanging some sort of counterweight at the other end though...

Microphone stand review
bobobsi 27.12.2018
This microphone stand feels sturdy and the joints move well and adjusts with ease. Good for standard use of condenser or dynamic microphones of moderate value in studios. For high-end expensive microphones a stand with more solid construction is maybe a safer option, or for uses that requires a lot demounting, but I haven't yet experienced any failures with it.
