good stereobar for the money
I was looking for a cheaper additional stereobar and bought this. Does what it is supposed to. I also plan to use it to mic toms and save on mic stands. Think it will be perfect for that since you can change the distance (and hence angle of the two side bars) to bring the mics closer in on the source, and have the correct angle that needs to be set... I also have the røde stereobar which cost a bit more. That one is great with all the pre made meassurements and angle for correct stereo mic techniques. This one doesnt have that but it can do the same job for less, but you have to meassure and/or eyeball the correct angles. Which is not a big problem anyway.

Slightly awkward fitting...
The central section is threaded for a 3/8 microphone boom arm. Nothing wrong with that, but when mating up to a K&M stand the knurled grip ring doesn't fit between the two side arms. Whether it is intended that the grip nut not be used is unclear as there are no specific instructions.
Otherwise, well made (as with all K&M) and a good finish.

Does what you want it to do.
I used it during a tour to have two different mics on the same mic stand.
It does work well. You end up moving the whole thing around quite.
Once you found the position you like I suggest you tighten it a lot so it doesn't move anymore.
Very Good overall quality

Stereo Bar offers a bit more !
The two center joints make it very easy to find any spacing for AB XY or ORTF mic positions.
I'm just about to buy another - from Thomann of course. This time I'll pick up a pair of K&M thread adaptors so I have an option to raise one of the mics slightly when I want an overlap !
