K&M 28140 Eurorack stand

Sehr schwer und daher stabil. Der Gummi am Stützfuß hinten ist sehr weich und sticky. Das bleibt seht gut stehen in allen Neigungswinkeln. Insgesamt aber dadurch etwas "grobschlächtig" und wenig elegant fürs Reisegepäck. Da kann die 3D-Druck Fraktion mit Individuallösungen besser punkten.
Was ich mir gewünscht hätte: Gummipuffer an der unteren Kante, über die gekippt wird. Alles Rutschen wird nur über den Gummi der hinteren Stützstange gehemmt. Vorne muss der Ständer gut auf einer geraden Fläche aufliegen, die dann außerdem verkratzt wird, wenn die Device im Ständer mal bedient wird. Nichts für Opas Klavierlack.

Build quality is what you'd expect from K&M, everything feels well-made, the rubber pads stick as they should, support leg works - absolutely no complaint there.

However. If you want to put a deep case - i.e. Doepfer - here, note that you need to tilt the stand back a fair bit, because the stand balances on the bend of the steel plate at the front, and the leg at the back. It will tilt forward unless the case's centre of gravity is behind the bottom of the steel plate. If you tilt the stand back far enough, this is not a problem.

The cutouts at the back plate sides fit a 6U Doepfer case power switch/mains connector perfectly.

I suspect this stand could hold a 9U case easily, but haven't tested myself.
