Sounds and looks like a terminator
MrBattlehunter 25.01.2024
I've had the modwave mk2 for about a month now and i really like it! altho it also has some lesser sides to it.

first impressions so far,
pros:
-Super impressed with the sound engine
-LOTS of wavetables and FX to choose from
-LOTS of modulation options for the wavetables (especially triggers for env/lfo are interesting)
-Plastic makes it light weight/easy for traveling
-Direct access to most things you will want to edit through knobs
-just barely touched the sequencer but it seems very powerfull and unique since its per note
-Some FX i havent seen in other synths yet like guitar amp and wahwah
-many custom mod knobs
-khaos pad+physics
-very easy to switch presets for live performance (16x4banks) right above your keys

cons:
-had some crashes/freezing while saving a preset, fingers crossed firmware update fixed this.. have to wait and see
-cant use LFO's or envelops to modulate FX, which sucks big time
-the plastic/lightweight makes it feel cheap
-keyboard is a bit noisy and no aftertouch
-FX rely on presets instead of direct access to some options making it hard to find the right effect you want sometimes
-Price (compared to mk1)

Endless modulation, endless fun!
GergoKovacsJazzPiano 31.08.2024
Just get it 3 days ago. You have to get used to the menu system, but after that true MIRACLE.
Great addition to my Prophet 6 and my Kurzweil.
Cons :
1 FILTER Polisix filter great for traditional pads, while MS 20 makes alive complex digital wavetables.
2. SUB: The sub is practically a 3rd oscillator, I used triangle at the same octave, to give punch.
3. MOD matrix: My favourite to use note number to modulate speed of lfo's so lower notes modulate slower then higher, best natural chorus.
4. CHAOSS PAD: Still learning, but great to get somewhere unexpected!
5. EFFECTS: Great, love the cathedral reverb.
6. The instrument is BEAUTIFUL, and QUALITY excellent, all knobs react smoothly, keys great synth action.

Neutral:
For my jazz setups 3 octave fine, for pads, leads, bass.
For Bach, I'd need a midi key with 4 octave.

Cons:
The more I dig into the modwave the more I think I'd need the wavestate too ;-)
