I got this as an upgrade from my Rockboard powerbank, which is a great mobile power supply.
The Falken is even better! It is has a lightweight metal housing and provides quite a lot of voltage options: 8 x 9V, 1x12, and 1 x 18V/24V selectable output you can easily power up your entire board.
There is quite a lot of battery also, i am not sure about the numbers but it powers up my board for at least 10h. And I have some power hungry pedals like the Friedman Motor City Drive (12V >400mA) and a line6 DL4 (9V ~1000mA).
It also have the advantage to operate while charging, so if you have a power outlet nearby you can re-charge the battery and keep playing).
It is also very silent.
pros:
- good amount of connections (8 + 2)
- several voltage options (9V, 12V, 18V, 24V)
- great battery capacity
- operates while charging
- metal construction but still lightweight
- silent
cons:
- none I can see.
I highly recommned this power supply, specially if you want a cableless environment. Would you gig with it? hell yeah! It is great and if you run out of batteries you can still use the wall outlet.
