Disappointing

Unfortunately, I received an instrument in which the higher register was very difficult to play due to 'sloppy' manufacturing. Upon inspection numerous tiny faults were found: slightly conical thumbhole, window out of kilter, fipple badly cut, cork coming away on the joints. All these faults together made the higher notes breathy at best. Surprisingly disappointing considering the reputation of Kung recorders.
