Wanted to try this set as I do have a neck for which low tension would help as I am at the end of adjusting the neck. The sound of this set is as one would expect, nothing earth shattering with the exception that I found the "E" slightly lower in volume that the other strings. The "E" and "A" strings were thicker than I expected, certainly compared to the Thomastik JF344. I found the tension not as low as expected. The La Bella 750N Black Nylon have in my opinion a much lower tension.

Perfect!
GSP_London 14.11.2019
These strings were bought as a last resort to make a 30 year old precision bass playable again.
The truss rod would just not hold the relief where I wanted it and there was nothing left to adjust.
I now wish I'd just bought these strings years ago.
They sound amazing and the neck has perfect (for me ) relief.
Oh well. Live and learn.
Highly recommended.

Not quite what I was looking for

They are called Low tension, but I think it's just because of light gauge.
Thomastik JF344 suites me better with both sound and feel.
Out of the box the strings was kinda ''sticky''. I cleaned it with my GHS Fast Fret, and it was better then.
Also, out of the box, the E string was different sounding then the other strings - some kind of a dull sound that the other strings didn't have.
I put my old Daddario ECB84 back...

Love these

Bought a set of these to help with an intonation issue on my Epiphone Embassy Pro and I am very impressed. Not only did they sort my E string issue, they sound amazing. I have used a variety of flat strings and these are up there with the best of them. Sound and feel great. I will be buying a set of these for my next bass.

Low tension offers great benefits
Shedman2401 07.02.2022
Allows easing of the truss rod and this is especially important for vintage instruments. On newer instruments, the soft give of the strings is very easy on the fingers, but with no loss of rich bass tone. Highly recommended!

Funny e string
Disssorder 21.09.2023
I pass through an expensive fase of trying to find the best tension and sound for each of my bass ( 2 jazz ,1 GL) . I am not going to go in a lot of details other than I liked cobalts flats the most. Snappy when I want and warm when will . The set of those labellas have some weird acoustic properties that I don't really dig and the e strong sounds funny to say at least.

OK but..

Strings feels so slopy. It has the character but for what cost? Playability is low and not fun for my taste. If your playing style is suuuper chill, you might like it. otherwise its garbage.
