It keeps reeds flat and in order. It doesn’t keep humidity. If you like that just place this guard in a glass jar or food container when reeds are wet.

I bought the Rico Reedgard IV Tenor/Bar to keep my reeds together. As a beginner saxophone player, I haven't had enough time to properly review this item - currently though it is doing the job. Can hold four reeds at the same time and fits in my case. I would buy again if I lost/broke it.
