Fantastic guitar, not beaten for this price
RIGRIM 02.03.2021
First of all, I am an amateur guitarist and have only had limited access to other guitars to compare against. However even I can plainly see and feel the difference in build quality and finish when compared similarly priced models. I was unsure how this would sound as the electronics are made in house by sire, however it has a wide range of tones with the single coils being comparable to a fender strat (USA made). This is a guitar to buy, cherish and hand down to the next generation,

Great guitar with amazing pickups
JohnvdP 11.08.2022
First of all, the guitar for me has a real wow factor. The fret ends where a bit sharp though, so for me a bit of a disappointment. All the reviews I've seen where extremely complimentary about the fret ends, so maybe I had some false expectations. Then again, nothing I couldn't fix myself. But not perfect frets. The action was a bit high, so setup could be better. I had a weird blueish spot in the green paint job as well. But then the great parts: the pickups and the neck. Wow, just wow. The pickups are really articulate, bright and clear. Not your typical heavy metal pickups. But so darn good for cleans, blues and rock. Behind the covers the electronics look really good. Great solder jobs and very, very decent wiring quality! Maybe some flaws on the outside. But the heart of the instrument is just very good. No need for pickup or electronic changes. Just some fret end treatment and fret polishing, a nice setup and your good to go. I dare to say: this is right up there with Fender.

Beatiful guitar with bad quality
n1smo 18.07.2023
First of all it's a very beatiful guitar with exceptionaly comfortable neck. The sound, sustain - it's also exceptional.
But. Quality it's what really dissaponted me a lot, I mean A LOT :) I have returned the product already and thanks to Thomann I will not ever see this mess:
- Fingerboard top edge was bitten by dogs that were polishing it
- Paint is very bad, tons and tons of black and dark dots, hairs or some "lines", dark areas
- Two or three places on the body where paint was chipped where it connectes to the body
- Locking tuners on the B and low E string were almost not able to turn, probably need to use a scredriver to adjust or something
- Rolled edges of the neck was not even across all the length, in some places it was rolled "too much" and position markers on the edges of the guitar (dots on the top fingerboard edge) were recessed deep into the wood, and physically felt like holes

I think this is it. Probably some units can be really impressively good... But some - like mine. I will never ever suggest anyone to buy Sire guitars from any shop other than Thomann, who have great reputation and customer satisfaction policies, where you can easily return it back with full money back.

P.S. Bought Chapman guitars ML1 Hybrid instead, with also roasted maple neck and more than happy.

Super Spec and Quality far beyond its price point.
Toxic Daisy 13.12.2021
Really lovely guitar finished really well. The neck is amazing and the quality of the guitar overall is very very good. Pickups are voiced really well with good dynamics and respond really well to the use of the volume pot although the volume pot is not very linear which is something I may change. Was set up pretty much ready to go out of the box. Highly recommend picking one of these up.
