My new favorite strings

The Larsen Tzigane strings are great both one my old (>100 years) violin and on my newer (<10 years) one.
They offer a great projection of sound, without too much buzz in the ear.

These strings suit my violin perfectly. They have a wonderful tone. The tension is quite low, which is what my instrument needs. I have been playing them for 9 months and they’re still fine (I play 7-10 hours a week). When they get worn, I’ll buy the same again !
