Mine came with one switch blocked. I needed it for that very day (last Friday) so I decided to try to fix it myself instead of returning the Foot Switch. When trying to open the metal box I noticed that two of the four screws were entered so forced that it was impossible to remove them with a normal screw driver. The head of the screw of very poor quality was destroyed on the attempt and I could not open the box to repair or replace the defective switch. As the screws were clearly market I did not dear to return the box to Thomann with clear signs of manipulation. The worse is that the defective switch was the one I need from the two available. The one that lets me to switch from two guitars to the same amp. So, on Friday I was struggling with no Lead Foot ABY switch to change guitar during the performance.
I kept this chatarra (scrap) into the blue box it came into. I expect to drill the glued screws, open the metal chassis, replace the defective switch and install bigger and better screws to close the scrap lead foot ABY.
I would have paid ten euros more to have a device that works out of the box. I chose this one because I though that a metal box with two switches and two led made in china could be functional enough as from 20 euros to make the job I intended to use for. Believe, it is a piece of scrap, badly designed and worse mounted.
PROS: 20 euros
CONS: 20 euros to the trash bin
