good strap for overweight basses

I have a 5kg bass, so I tried all the heavy straps. the Levys MSS2-4 is a popular strap, used by many bass players over the world.

pros: 100% natural leather, soft multi-layer construction, comfy and grippy, very durable

cons: very wide (I ended up with a narrower strap as this didn't fit my gig bag); the top layer stretches out in uneven way, so after some wear in, the top level has some visible bumps/blisters.

Bought this wide Levy's strap because I have a very heavy 5 string bass.
The strap allows me to do a 2 hour gig in complete comfort.
Highly recommended.
Suburb quality and does exactly as described.

J'en suis déjà à ma deuxième sangle de ce modèle (l'autre est noire) tant elle est top! Utilisée pour supporter une basse assez lourde, elle de bonne qualité (véritable cuir), inspire la solidité, bien large et rembourrée pour un confort certain. Je la recommande sans hésiter. Attention par contre, elle est assez courte, moi ça me va très bien mais pour quelqu'un de grand elle pourrait être un peu juste.

Habe den Ledergurt für meinen E-Bass gekauft super schöne Verarbeitung alles Top und jetzt ein aber der ist leider viel zu breit . Der Gurt schneidet mir zu sehr in den Hals, vielleicht weil er noch neu und sehr steif ist. Sollte sich was ändern gebe ich Bescheid.
