Great design

At first, I was slow about ordering these, mostly because I was unsure about the look. When not connected to the strap, they do look a bit like grease nipples on the guitar. But, they are so easy to use, feel very secure when attached. They are also quiet, as they don't rattle around when connected. I'm very happy.

Pros:
- Price, cheaper than most strap locks
- Excellent design, the washer/nut to attach the connector to the strap connects from the inside... so even if it came loose, the connector is still connected through the strap. It is a very smart solution. The connectors are very compact on the strap, and yet very easy to operate.
- Intuitive to install and operate. Push it on, pull it off. Perfect.

Cons:
- I checked with all the straps we had here, and in each case the button holes were too small for these strap locks. I had to cut the holes to make them large enough to accommodate them.

I'm very glad I found these strap locks.

So far, the best locking system I've found

The function of this device is crystal clear, lock the guitar to your strap, preventing any nasty accidents.

The best feature of this particular model is how dependable the mechanism is. With other models, I occasionally run in trouble trying to release the strap; this one has always worked spot on.

What is the worst aspect of this design? Contrary to other models like Schaller's or Marvel's, this one does not double as a regular "emergency only" strap button. This means that if for whatever reason you are not enable to use your regular guitar strap, you cannot use another one at all (unless it also has a Loxx system or you have a spare one at hand).

Anyway, I am so pleased with the design, that I think it is worth to upgrade all my strap buttons and straps to this system altogether. It rocks!

For this price you cannot find better.
The pins do not look as elegant as I expected they would.

Brilliant product, and they're shinier than the Nickel ones!

I have 9 sets of Loxx in total, black, chrome, nickel and gold. They're low-profile, simple to install and very rugged. I like the Chrome ones on my Suhr because they match the hardware - they're a little shinier and nicer looking than the nickel ones. An extra ? or so is worth it on a nice guitar!

The installation tool could be better (needs to be longer and easier to grip) but the product itself is great. Pair it with a good leather strap and your guitar will be happy and safe for life!

Very underrated strap locks!

By now I've tried quite a few different straplocks and even though most of them are always reliable and safe, this one is by far my favorite. Why? Because it's simple, solid and barely noticeable.

My issue with strap locks is that they tend to be over-the-top complicated (either to use or to install) or that they tend to add too much to your strap button making it look silly.

This one by Loxx is super simple to setup and it's a simple push-pull system that allows your strap to remain very well balanced on your shoulders.

Neat strap lock

This is small and accurate strap lock, it’s not as big and bulky as other brands’ locks.

The only downside is that the screw is way too short for some guitars with softer woods or heavier guitars or combinations of that.

Otherwise I’m pretty satisfied with these, installed them on all my concert guitars.

Simple and effective

I've previously avoided straplocks (using the DiMarzio Clip Lock straps instead) because of the ridiculous amount they stick out from the guitar. These Loxx units are different - very low profile. They're simple to install (although as others have noted, the spanner supplied is not comfortable or long enough to get the button tight), great looking and super secure. I've got them now on all my electric guitars and basses. Recommended!

I just can't understand why anyone would use any other strap lock. So simple and reliable. The first thing I do when I buy a new bass or guitar, is to fit Loxx strap locks

Security and comfort!

The strap locks are very easy to install, although the supplied tool may not be the most comfortable to grip. But as you have to do the assembly only one time it is okay.

The guitar strap can be fastened and unfastened from the guitar really quickly and easily without any tool.

And the most important point: it secures the strap safely to the guitar.
Couldn't be better!
