I love this bell. Sounds like it did 30 years ago which can't be said about all kinds of percussion instruments, so no problems here.

After I've started digging in afro-cuban style of music of course I've started to searching more authentic sound. Playing mambo patterns on ride cymbal is cool, but man, after I've got this cowbell it change my game to the whole other level. LP products are definetely best of best on the market, and this type of cowbells I highly recommend to check out. Sound of that cowbell is really really deep but it will not kill your ears as it is kinda low pitched, that what I found is cool about mambo cowbell.

The Worlds Best Cowbell (in my opinion)
musiikkimajuri 25.12.2013
I was looking for a cowbell sound that would blend in with my drums but also sound warm and healthy on its own. I have owned about 10 cowbells so far and mostly have been lacking this quality. I play percussions and drumset, so i have hit a few cowbells before. I found this cowbell by listening to a record and then finding out what cowbell was used on it, because i loved the sound of it! This is definetly a work horse of a bell and works in so many contemporary styles of music, from latin to jazz and from ballad to fast rock i cover most cowbell work with this. It has a low pitch but has also a nice attack to its sound when hit on the top. Together with a smaller cowbell it works well!

Best all round cowbell.

I bought this cowbell because I was always looking for Dave Weckl's cowbell sound, and this is the exact model he uses.

The cowbell has a big surface so it is easy to get some dynamic sounds from it and allows it to be played musically, it isn't a one sound cowbell, you can get around 3-4 sounds from it depending on how you play it, while most cowbells can be ignorant and bury the band if you are not careful, watch any Dave Weckl footage that you can get your hands on.

The build is solid, and the wing nut has yet to come loose on me at any time during a performance.

This is ideal for Funk, Latin and Pop playing, it doesn't have a specific note to it, so it never clashes with anything melodic or harmonic that your band could be playing, where as a bongo, cha cha, or salsa cowbell could give you problems.

This is the cowbell to have for all situations, it is yet to let me down or give off a brash or harsh sound in any musician situation.
