These reason to get this is simple.

Its a one off stick solely for sticking the cowbell, and because of its size, it gives off a bigger sound (not louder). I don't play thick drum sticks, so I use this instead, and I don't think il ever own a pair of drum sticks this thick to use on a cowbell anyway. It also sounds great on the side of a Cajon or Conga.

It is solid as a rock and I can't see anyone breaking one anytime soon.
