Very nice sounding Marshall combo amp. It produces great distortion as well as clean sounds at low volume. The amp can be used in the bedroom as well as in the rehearsal room. For live gigs you can add a speaker cabinet.
This amp delivers the best sounding LOW VOLUME Marshall sound.
Your neighbours will love you.

Great Amp - suitable for home
Mark557 23.10.2020
Received this amp last week; absolutely love it so far. Always used Fender tube amps, this is my first Marshall. Was concerned it might be too loud for home but can get great crunch at reasonable volumes on the 5 watt setting. Haven't cranked it on full power yet but looking forward to doing so next time I get to a rehearsal room!!
Only slight quibble is the knobs are quite plasticky but not a big issue for me as won't be moving the amp from home too often.
Features are pretty limited but it is what it is, a quality amp with great rock tones. Clean sound is fine but not really what you're buying a Marshall for anyway.

didn't like the tone
byzonoo 17.12.2020
I bought it for my personal home studio. Maybe it's just my particular taste but the OD/distorsion did not sound good at all especially at high gains. The tone was buzzy and airy with too much high freq. I tried different guitars (Gibson Black beauty, Schecter Diamond series, 1981 japan Squier) and I couldn't find a pleasant distorted tone. The clean sounds good with enough headroom for a 20W.

Classic Marshall sound
Broncco 18.10.2020
Can get you anywhere from Hendrix to Slash... if you are looking for nice combo for playing live and you want play sexy Marshall sound, this baby is for you. Very compact, a bit heavier, but it won't break your back. There are two channels and a foot switch, however I usually use the lead and dial my guitar volume down if I want to clean it up. The combo comes with Celestion green back, which if you are a rock guy will love. Highly recommended and looks cool too.

Awesome for hard rock
Roland-shr 23.06.2023
Great Marshall sound, can be played at home at reasonable volumes.
Initially quite hard to dial in but once you get the hang of it you can get all sounds of sounds of it. It has great cleans too. The low end can get a bit flubby but a boost tightens up really well. I use it with humbuckers and single coils. Single coils + tube screamer sounds insanely good through it.
The only cons are the lack of reverb and modern features such as silent recording, but it can't really be considered a flaw since this is a reissue of the original.
