i bought this cab at the beginning of 2020 and now it has been more than a year. i am using it under my marshall jvm 410h. home user.
before this one i was using a Fame 2x12 v30 cab and i was thinking it was equivalent to every standard v30 cab. after this one came i couldnt believe my ears. marshall cab was clearer on both hi and low ends. i compared the 1936v vs Fame cab under other amp heads but no they were definitely not sounding same, then i planned to move celestion v30 speakers in my old Fame cab to restore another old marshall cabinet and i gave up for selling it because i think marshall is using a different type of v30s produced specially for them by celestion, as written on speakers. also 1936v sounds different than mesa 2x12 cabs, which also use a special produced celestion v30.
i love this cab because it is enough for everything and more controllable - less loud than 4x12 1960v. i heard many other brands v30 cabs but not clear and versatile as this cab. also i tried it with my other amps mesa boogie mark v 90c and orange tiny terror 15. always sounding better against ordinary v30s.
my only concern was, it came with some loose speaker screws and while i was screwing them back , i tried so hard and i bent one of the speakers metal frame. i read bad things about bent speaker frames
but i dont think that it changed the sound on my case and it still sounds good.
it is heavier and bigger than its rivals. not easy for gigging around. for this reason i am planning to buy a smaller 1x12 for my tiny terror 15 amp but also concerning changing the tiny terror with a same size more versatile amp for using and carrying with this 1936v cab.

I have bought two of these. The Vintage speakers are excellent and give a good warm tone. My only minor criticism is that if you try to stack them, they are not very stable.

After a long time, and my former box 1960A, I'm back on Marshall. It was difficult to decide by looking at Youtube reviews and find a relevant one among them, to find the best 2x12 box for my Marshall JVM 210H. And that's it! Compact, easy to carry and with a full sound that does not lack bass and treble. Believe me, you will feel the kick of these vintage speakers. It has enough power for a big stage, I used it there and at home. What is important - although in home mode, with the master volume at barely 2 and the channel volume at the same level (on a 100w amplifier), you have as good a Marshall hard rock sound on the Humbacker's as on stage. No need for drive pedals. Great for practicing, great for the ear :) Great box.
Thomann is always a great choice, but I have a complaint, unlike the previous Fender De Ville purchase, this box came in its original Marshall cardboard box, without an outer cardboard box to protect it during transport. And so the cardboard box arrived in Croatia damaged, with a hole in the front part, on the left next to the mark 1936V and four symmetrical small holes on the back. Fortunately and by sheer chance, there was no damage to the 2x12 box itself. I don't know why Thomann changed the way of sending and protecting the shipment, and as I read in the comments- only for countries outside Germany?
Anyway, I was lucky enough not to have to return the shipment and wait for a new one. Finally, the conclusion, a very, very good 2x12 box, maybe the best if you compare the price and characteristics with similar ones on the market. 1960 is great, but there's really no need for something that big unless you're constantly playing arenas and stadiums :)

Great cabinet, but beware when living far from Germany
markok1847 16.05.2022
This cabinet is great, but beware that if you live outside Germany Thomann might not ship this in a separate cardboard box but in the actual Marshall shipping box - my box was so heavily lugged around once it arrived here in Estonia that all the corners of the cabinet were already scratched to hell (they wore out from the corners of the cardboard). Thomann sent me the replacements corners (my request). The correspondence was very long though - should I send it back or not - it took weeks/months to finally get a solution.

I use it with a JVM 410H.
It replaced a 1202 JVM extension cab and there is a difference in favor of the 1936V.
Gives warm and rich in harmonics tone. Very tight bass and mid - treble ... well if one is into the sparkling highs it will probably not suffice, but I am not :).
It says "Made In England" on the box, but the speakers are (maybe - I have and will not open it) Chinese - nothing wrong with that. There is a slight difference when I compared the Vintage speaker of the 1202 JVM and the ones in the 1936V. In which favor? Strictly in the ear of the beholder :)
I am satisfied and recommend it
