Plexi?
TaZer 24.08.2023
Ok, I really want to give this amp 5 stars but I simply can't. All the plexis I've heard sound amazing but I don't know if I got a bad amp or something but mine is simply extremely noisy. Lots of humming, I can't stand it.

Maybe in the future I'll get used to it but for now, I'll give it a 4/5.

Rock’s Perfect beast

I was not clear within pursuing the 50w or 20w Plexi.
At the end I made my mind and got the 20w as it would be more handy. This was a very good decision. It makes you feel it in your bones.
The only con I see is the fact that there is no master volume, but it makes no difference. It is a great amp!

As for 20W valve - good
makaronwo 08.09.2019
In general with 112 vintage speaker is a good amp. It is rather loud as for that size. I have decided to buy this head, then compare it with 1987x and decide which is my final choice. Unfortunately Plexi head 1987x is much better. Though it is said that big plexi heads ( I mean at least 50W ) were designed to be played loud and for they "default" tone you have to crank them, even at lower volumes ( for example 2 high treble loudness and 2 normal loudness ) and even with 112 vintage cab 50W 1987x plexi had much richer, bigger and warmer tone than cranked SV20H. It does not mean of course that Studio Vintage head is a bad amp, but for many professionals it's quality can be unsatisfying. For sure it is a good choice for those who want to play at home only.
