I typically use Elixir strings, but I thought I would give these a shot. Broke a string 3 days after putting them on my guitar, which has never happened to me in the 10 years I've been playing. As for the sound (though it has only been a few days), so far they sound more metallic to me than the Elixir phosphor bronze, but produce quite a full sound. The feel is average.
