Good ruler, durable, well priced, happy purchase
Very good, has been in use for a few months now, still feels brand new. Would buy again and recommend.
One edge is in millimeters, the other is in half-millimeters which is very useful for measurement for string spacing, string-to-fret distances, small distances like that which require this level of precision. The other side of the ruler has a conversion table between inches and millimeters, which is often useful given that there exist a handful of backward countries that, in their naivety, still use imperial units.

A must for every guitarist and bassist
Whether you need to adjust action or pickup height, a ruler is an absolute must-have because even if you tweak all those settings by ear and feel, it might still be useful to know what your preferences are. According to one reviewer here, these rulers are made by Shinwa in Japan.
However, even though the one I received did indeed bear Shinwa branding, the country of manufacture was specified as China. To me, it is not an issue, but I wanted to share my side of the story, as it were, for the benefit of those who regard these matters as important.
The ruler is stiff and well made, despite a few superficial scratches. Some of its edges are not perfectly even, which I consider acceptable for my purpose and in this price range. After all, I am going to use it to measure guitars, not spacecraft. Also, have in mind that I am judging from the point of view of an absolute perfectionist, so, in spite of all of my criticism, I would buy one again if I needed.

I don't think I've ever been impressed by a ruler before
Japanese made by Shinwasokutei, really feels like a high quality ruler. Use it for setting up my guitars and it's really accurate. I've never been impressed by a ruler before but this is definitely one of those items that will last your lifetime. Comes with a small protective cover as well.

Excellent little ruler
This is the perfect choice for precision measurement when setting up guitar bridges, pickup height, pole pieces, string action etc.
1mm markings and half mm markings the other side.
Clearly marked in black and red - Perfect !
Hole to hang it up if wanted and comes in a plastic sleeve for protection.

Good quality ruler
Very good quality ruler. Inc is engraved in the metal, so it will not wear out easily. The measurement starts flat from the edge, very convenient for measuring string and pickup height. Perfect readability.

A tool that comes in handy
Every guitarist shoudl have one of those. Be careful tough, these rulers don't have rounded edges so it's easy to scratch your instrument by accident.
