Pleasantly surprised
Vlad Vartosu 31.05.2018
I was curios about the grip of this pick while checking it out, but I didn't set any expectations. That was good because this pick exceeded them. No matter how much you sweat or how slippery your fingers are, they will rest steady on the grip area.
The material is a rough grain that is quite comfortable and easy to grab / hold on to. The picking side is a smooth plastic that plays very well.
I would highly recommend it to people that tend to drop their picks because of sweat or other various reasons.

Pros: Very comfortable, playable and easy to grab. Will perform well if you are known to drop or lose picks in the middle of playing. Highly recommend it.

Cons: On one of the sides, where it says No. 7, it is design to not interfere with the strings, however, sometimes, the grained material can stick to the string and create a sort of grip. It is not necessarily a problem, more of a lack in design.

Great pick, thank you Thomann!

They are not cheap but definitely worth that money. They have a very good grip and are so much fun to play everything - from metal to jazz and even classical music.

Not very pleasant to hold
DT1980 03.09.2021
This pick provides very good grip, but with an expense... it's very unpleasant to hold. Durability looks good, but haven't used it much because I don't like the feel of it.

But that grip thing is nasty, if you are one of the players, that puts their pick in the mouth

great pic, I had never heard of these before so I thought I would try it. awesome!! the only problem I had with it is personal preference - the sandpaper when brushing against my fingernails gives me shivers like nails on a chalkboard so I cant see buying more but if that sort of thing doesnt annoy you, youre set!! good price too

Just as Good as an Ibanez Sand Grip
Anonymous 06.09.2015
I was pleasantly surprised by this pick. For the price you can't go wrong.

The grip section is relatively long lasting. The pick would suit seasoned players who like some extra stability. It reminds me of a Dunlop Max Grip, although the grip section itself is less noticeable under your fingers. The sand allows the pick to almost hold onto your skin by itself, keeping it in place with very little extra pressure required. It's basically an Ibanez Sand Grip at a much lower price point.

Sound wise the tone is bright, similar to a typical nylon pick.

This pick might suit new players who may need help keeping hold of their plectrum!
