Bigger hats = more fun

I play mostly slow, sludgy drum parts in my band and had been using the Classics Custom Dark 14'' Heavy Hi-Hats for a while. I am a heavy hitter and I was playing them upside down, with the designated "bottom" cymbal on top, but the hats were still feeling a bit too light and small for me.

These are my first 15" hats, and I am very happy with the heavier feel and the bigger size. The added bit of brightness, over the regular Dark hats, is a welcome touch as well. Also, as my drumset is all in the black-and-gold aesthetic, these Classics Custom Dual cymbals fit right in with their awesome design. I enjoy both playing and looking at them, very happy with my purchase!
