For me, this is a great cymbal. Years ago I was a bit sad that Meinl cut a lot of their lines including SoundCaster which was one of my favourites. This actually sounds like my SC crash, just a bit deeper. As I'm just a hobby drummer, I prefer 16s over 18 and this fits nicely with other Meinl cymbals along with SoundCasters and MB20s.
