Really a nice set of Gong Resonant. Each "ball-stick" has a different vibration due to its different weight, and grabbing the stick closer or farther from the ball, you can really have different sound from the same ball.
Just happened that a couple of balls were not well glued to the stick and in heavy use they disconnected. Just re-glue better using gel-attack and they will work perfectly.
Really satisfied.

Massive Sound!
Jingles 12.04.2018
These gong superballs are famously unreliable, but Meinl seem to have achieved ones that work without any massive effort. Bought them for a patch of work with some very loud, very exposed moments and they truly delivered. Brilliant sound and the size range allows different harmonics to come out. The conductor was very complimentary, so I'm sold totally!

Not that great
temple sounds 20.09.2018
I use another brand of these resonant mallets usually and I find these Meinl ones a bit more effort to use, you have to press quite hard with these to get a good response from the gongs. They may grow on me with use but my usually brand are effortless to use (but tend to break) and these are good quality but difficult to use. Mix of the 2 brands seems best!

Wide range of sonics
Catpaw 22.11.2017
These create a vast range of different effects on my gongs ranging from deep monk like drones to ethereal echoing keening depending on both the size of the ball and the way it's held. Some truly amazing soundscapes can be created by combining the effects of the different sizes. The sticks have a flimsy feel but I have had no problems with them yet.

very expensive
RACHELSMUSIC 17.10.2020
They are ok I find the sticks are too thin for the ball then weight of the biggest one is hard to work with the smallest ball doesn't work very well at all very expensive for what it is. I would say Egg Floomi will give you a better higher sound

Gong resonant
Szejma 24.04.2017
I use these rubbers mainly for crystal bowls an the 2 largest of them are perfect to get low tones of the wind gong. The stick is too thin for gong but perfect for cristal bowls(3mm), so i prefer thicker (5mm) when I play gong. The handle OTG3 helps to play easier wit this rubber.

mr_so 09.05.2023
Easy ro use flumis for your gong, reate some really different sounds with these, far beyond what a standard Mallet will create. A great addition to any gong players arsenal.

Bigger lollipops are easy to use, smaller ones sound more difficultly.
Wish the sticks were stronger as well.

Not the best!
welsh wizzard 18.12.2024
I do have trouble creating a quality sound with all but the largest friction wand. This may be because of the gong I use (36" Wind Gong). They may work better on other gongs.
