Easier than a bass drum, but..
Oskar Rolstad Buvarp 12.03.2022
It works for singer songwriter stuff, or other acoustic shows (when the drummer cant join the gig-kind of situation).

And here is the but: it sounds so incredibly much better with a Shure 91 A kickdrum-mic under a flight-lid, or something else with a boxy shape. (A box)........

This stompbox sounds very small, no matter how i EQ, or even put a sub-octave effect after it. You CAN make it usable, but its a waste of time and money compared to a Kick-drum mic and a box over it.

Originaly I bought this for triggering a side-chain input on my stereo sidechain compression pedal (its called «the pill pedal»). And the stompbox nailed that purpose. I also splitted the signal and sent it into a noise gate side chain input.

So it depends on your needs. As a piezo-trigger, go for it. As a substitute for kick-drum, i would have bought a low-profile kick-drum mic. Like the shure 91🙏
