Excellent bongo stand!

I use this stand to hold my Meinl HB100VSB bongos in front of a pair of congas and it's excellent!

The horizontal (foam covered) bar that the bongos sit on is probably the key feature - stopping the the drums tilting as you play. I've used cheaper bongo stands and have had to continually re-adjust the stand during playing - but not with this stand.

That continual movement with my old stand led to the other problem with it - the clamp was open at the top, so clamping the bongos harder to try to stop the movement bent the U-shaped clamp itself, exacerbating the problem. This stand gets around that with a metal strap that goes over the top of the clamp. The strap is a (little) bit fiddly to fit, but once on, it's not going anywhere.

All in all, this is an excellent stand if you play your bongos standing up.

Excellent Bongos stand, good quality fittings, screws etc. No need for tools. You can tilt the stand to any angle, it really does feel strong when clamped in place, nothing will move for sure!
