I don't understand the whole concept. If you need an adjustable footrest, it should be portable. This rest is huge and weights a ton, so you cannot carry it with you. It is not sturdy either. You cannot lock it into a position. If you put a bit weight on it, the rest goes down - the spring is too weak - or the top part swings.
