Das ist mein erstes Paar MG-Mallets. Ich habe die Schlägel für Händel Messiah angeschafft. Diese sollten eine Alternative zu den klassischen Holzschlägeln schaffen. Die TCB01 sind zwar etwas weniger obertonreich, aber dafür etwas voluminöser und dennoch ziemlich prägnant. Je nach Anschlag und Gewicht, kann das aber wunderbar angepasst werden. Gerade in den Schlusspassagen wirkt die Pauke dadurch gravitätischer und knallt nicht so sehr wie bei Holzschlägeln. Schöne Schlägel, die sicherlich auch für modernere Epochen und Stile geeignet sind.
