Great Value Crash
Joe Smith 20.01.2018
I was dubious about spending money on lesser-known brands like Millenium from Thomann - however, with Thomann's house-brands before I've had good experiences, and at the low price it's at, I had to at least try it and see if it was worth the money!
My first impression of the cymbal were that it looks very high quality and professional. However, the cymbal quickly collects finger marks and stick marks shortly into use.
I originally bought this crash expecting to use it as a secondary crash, to do some hard rock and metal beats on. However, I find the cymbal sits best as a primary crash because of it's high volume and long sustain.
It has a fairly low, clear tone (especially for a 16 inch) and a bright, loud bell sound. The bell is also extra pronounced on the cymbal and is much easier to hit.
Pros:
+Cheap, b20 bronze cymbal and is greatly value
+Clear, loud and explosive sound that sits well in rock and metal music
+Feels thick and so is lilkely to last a little longer than some other cheap cymbals
Cons:
-Not the kind of cymbal you would hit as a beat
-Cymbal and finger marks are an issue for some

Better alternative to the big brands low end cymbals!
z1gor 10.02.2018
As a drummer, i have a main set with a bunch of expensive cymbals, and a secondary set with cheap cymbals that i use in things like rehearsals and such.

After owning a bunch of cheap cymbals from the big brands like sabian b8, paiste pst3/5, zildjian zbt and so on, i decided to try the cheap cymbals from the Thomann brand "Millenium", and so far, it was one of the best decisions ever.

The crash is B20, unlike the cymbals at this price range that are either brass or if you're lucky enough, b8. B20 is the material used in high end cymbals, keep that in mind.

The crash itself is loud and has a decent sustain. The finish is good enough for this price range and overall it's in my opinion, much better than the low end cymbals from the big brands.
So you can compare, this costs the "same" as the paiste 101 16" crash, and as someone who played 101 before, if i had to choose between this and the 101, i would pick this crash without looking back.

Pros: really cheap, B20, decent finish, durable (thick cymbal)

Cons: sounds like a rock/metal crash and i prefer thinner sounding cymbals (not a con actually, just my personal preference)

Excellent
Gairm 11.08.2019
It's a B20 cymbal for less than most entry-level B8s.

It has a clear, bright tone without the appalling clang of a cheap B8 16 Crash. I used it as a crash on a church kit for several months and it was surprisingly versatile .. rideable at moderate volumes without washing out .. responsive as a crash, and great for cymbal swells.

It's now on my practice kit, alongside a small Bosphorus Traditional Series crash, in which company it holds its own very well (and I speak as a big fan of Bosphorus cymbals).

You can't go wrong with this cymbal.

Millenium 16" B20 Crash
John162 29.12.2015
there is not really that much to say about cymbals really in my opinion ..if your a drummer then you'll know for well how much cymbals can cost .. and the more you pay ..the better the sounding cymbal ..
i discovered these cymbals Millenium on thomann a little while back ,,and to be honest wasn't a hundred percent sure on how it would sound ..the sound clip thomann provide is such a useful feature .. and to me sounded like a high end sounding cymbal ,,
i have to say i am very very impressed with this cymbal and have to say if when i decide to buy another cymbal ..the millenium cymbals will be the one's i choose ..great value for money ..and great sounding .. they are a B20 not brass like you find on cymbals of this price ..i can't praise these enough .. as for longevity i can't really comment on just yet ,, as i have had my 16 inch crash a month ..but i'm not a heavy hitter so i'm not too concerned
i will be purchasing more of these in the future ..that i can say ..
well worth the money ..great sounding and by far the cheapest i've found online by thomann only i might add .
thanks again thomann

Sounds amazing, but breaks in about 4 months
Jay18 19.04.2019
I love this range of cymbals, but the only downside I have about them is that they break a bit too easily. I bought mine in December, and about 3 weeks ago I noticed a big crack along one of the lathing lines halfway up the cymbal.

Good thing they are cheap but still

Awesome yet affordable crash cymbal!
Nick Collins 25.10.2019
Unlike an 18-inch model, this one sounds a bit higher in pitch than I expected from Thomann's audio demo. It took me a little bit of time to get used to its, sort of, splashiness. To each its own :)
It's awesome sounding crash still, miles beyond entry-level 16-inch crashes.

I got it for my jazz bar..
Andrew2867 31.01.2018
Yes, they didn't have a crash so I got this one plus a Millennium stand and the owner is very happy as are the drummers. It can even ride a bit if you are very gentle...
