These were nice and cheap - always a bonus - but any money saved should be used to buy glue. After an hour of steady playing in a 3 hour session one of the plastic tips came off and bounced off the bassist. Not exactly a bad thing but had I wanted to damage the four string chap I'd have hit him with the stool.
Two hours into the jam and the remaining tip hit the ceiling.
The sticks themselves held up okay - I just swung them round and used the noisy ends.
So not completely useless if, perhaps, you have some glue or silicone to hand.

They dont last very long. This is probably because maple usually never lasts long though rather than the stick being poor quality. If you play "soft" music like jazz or something they would probably do but i would rather buy hickory or hornbeam.

Can almost guarantee that at least one nylon tip will fly off at least once in the first 5 minutes. Even playing gently on a sampling pad.
For under £1/stick it's understandable that there is no glue budget!
