This is OK. It's reassuringly heavy and stable. It is not of the highest quality but for the price one cannot complain.
It holds my Shure Beta 52A fine. The mic is a tiny bit high to sit bang in the middle of my 20" bass drum. Personally I always mic it a little off centre anyway, but if this is an issue for you this might be useful info.
The middle of the upright piece also extends which I hadn't realised when I bought it - so you can get extra height if you need it. I don't. But that might be useful for micing up the top of a guitar cabinet or combo for example. Or a MASSIVE bass drum!
I'd buy it again as for the price point you can't go wrong and its perfect for micing bass drums - solid and stable but not too big.
Delivery, as usual, quick and effective. Thanks Thomann!

Cheap kick drum mic stand
Anonymous 12.02.2017
This is a very low cost kick drum mic stand. I ordered this as part of a set with the T.bone BD 300, it is cheaper to get these together than seperately. There isn't alot to say about this stand other than for the money is good value. It comes on 2 parts, the bass unit and the upright. I found the threads on the Bass unit were not cut very well and the two parts didn't screw together as easily as expected, though once in place they were stable. I wont be disassembling anyway. You can also screw a microphone boom onto the end of the shaft as well for placing the kick mic a little closer to the beater. This would also double up as a guitar cabinet mic stand. All in all this is a pretty handy little stand for ery little money.

Great solution
Thonk 18.02.2020
A really good little piece of hardware for loading a bass drum with a mic.
It can be a little fiddly to put together inside the drum, dependent on the size of the hole in the drum skin that you have to put your hands through, but hey-ho.
Well made, lasted me 3 years so far, and is still in perfect nick.

Fine item

If you have not s mike with grip, ti's a very good solution to record your bass drum. I personally placed it inside the b.d. from the small output hole, to maximise recording direct signal.

Heavy, great for Kick mic
Kakao106 05.04.2023
Nice HEAVY little stand. Bought it for kick drum mic.
Because the hole in my drums is quite low i had to mount my AKG D112 MK1 upside down in the holder. This mic is quite bulky so i had to leave it pointing a bit up (rear mesh of mic would be touching the stand).
Not really a problem of this stand, rather the AKG mic.
Would have to point it up a bit anyway to point it to the beater.
The stand can be disassembled in to a set of "Sticks" so it is easier to transport.
It is also very heavy so a heavy mic won't tip the stand over + you don't need to weight it down with a sand bag.
Would recommend..

Simple and effective
Denis1969 10.10.2022
Got it in a Superlux Pro 218A Bundle to mike my 20" bass drum with no porthole.
Simple and effective design, very heavy and stable. Uses very little space so it is unlikely to be accidentally kicked on a small stage.
The processing is more than decent.
All in all, works great unless you want to reach deep inside the porthole.

Would probably avoid
Norwegianghoul 26.12.2021
Its a ok stand, and thats about it. It does not fall over, but the quality is poor, would probably go for the millenium boom stand for kick mics

For the price? You can't go wrong.
Dirty Five Given 22.10.2020
This is literally the cheapest stand you can get, but it's still fully functional and actually quite sturdy.
There's of course gonna be some plastic elements in it, where it probably it's not the best idea - like the clamps, but what can you do - the thing is dirt-cheap.
If you don't plan on moving it around too much - get it. It's perfectly fine.

Good

It's good, but I wish there was some more adjustment height-wise. Other than that it feels like it's gonna last a lifetime.

Does the job done for a low price
SgtCrock 19.10.2021
I'm using it as a microphone stand for a Cajon. The height is perfect for positioning the mic inside/outside the hole. It is sturdy and tough, although it doesn't feel premium, but it doesn't need to be, especially for the price.
