Bought these originally for performance for live gigs.
They are strong and lightweight at the same time, and for a medium set of speakers 10-12" work perfectly. I would use heavier stands for anything above that or heavy wood case speakers, but i can highly recommend these for most setups.

I
Damping when retracting
Ionlab 08.03.2019
Compared to the immediately "lesser" Millenium model these have a self locking "button" instead of a pin. What I was not expecting was that there is a damping action when retracting the extension pole in order to prevent the extension from retracting too quickly. So even if someone accidentally pressed the safety mechanism the speaker would not come down crashing but will gently be lowered. That being said I do not over-tighten the plastic screws and UV/rust resistance remains to be seen. Overall they seem a decent pair and come with a carrying bag.

Good quality and do what they're made for.

I see no immediate flaws in the quality or design. Put Alto 415 tops on them no problems. Only odd thing I noticed is the user manual, where they instruct to set the stands up in a way the supports are horizontal. But that just didn't make sense to me - the legs were spread way too wide. Set it up according to your needs.
The bag is kinda crappy, but I haven't really even used it. But when needed to move the legs or store them, the bag will suffice.

Will do the job.

Visually the stands have a lovely finish and are sturdy.. and guess what.. they are!
They could stand (haha) up to any cabinet that you put on the top of them - as long as you abide to the SWL.
Each stand has a spring-loaded pin that automatically goes into the hole when setting up, and an additional clamp that secures the pole into position.
The bag included is very thin, and gives no protection at all.. but is very useful when lugging them around.
Over-all it is not the best stand in the world, but will always do what you need it too. It will hold you speakers safely and securely!
