Millenium boom stand
Anonymous 25.08.2016
I?m a heavy hitter, for me ? solid and reliable hardware is a must!! Millenium hardware keeps surprising me with it?s durability and quality for the price. Doesn?t matter whether it is a 22? China or an 8? Splash i have to set up ? all hold nicely.

Pros;
+ Steady, firm and reliable ? i can play without worrying whether my Crash is gonna come crashing down on my toms during a massive drum fill or a heavy groove.
+ Simple and easy to set up and use.
+ Compact, doesn?t take up much space. I have lots of hardware to move when touring and seting up for a gig, so huge, heavy gear for me is a nightmare.

Cons;
+ It might be a softer composition of metals or bigger thread pitch, but be careful with those tension locks, be careful no to over-tighten, or they will ware out pretty quick! The locks are good so no need for maximum tighening. But that goes for all gear, pretty much! Be gentle :)
+ I, personally, wouldn?t recommend stacking these boom stands with extra clamps and boom arms. You?ll need a heavy duty base for that. Overloading these will result in dents and lack of steadiness.

Summary;
To buy or not to buy? ? Yes! Definately worth investing in!

Good for the price

Nice stand for small cymbals or other not too weighty stuff. If you extend the boom, it will easily come out of balance with a heavy ride for instance.
Has very nice versatility in the boom, which can slide, turn around its axle, turn on its clamp and the top also has a radius. Plus the stand itself rises and falls and turns around its axle. So that is perfect!

It had some play on one of the wing nuts, but that was easily fixed by adding an ordinary ring under the nut.

For my 12" splash completely adequate. This kind of versatility at this price, that's a steal!

Stable, reliable, duable

Impressive "budget" cymbal stand.
Well grounded/weighted towards the base frame & fairly wide spread on the legs ensures stability.
Upright section has a good solid bite on the textured boom arm when deployed, which reduces wear/slip rotation during playing.

Worth the money
1988rocker 05.11.2019
I use this stand just for holding ride or crash ride cymbal. Looks like it's actually doing the job. I used only stands from 'big names' in the business before. This stand's adjustment is pretty rough compared to more expensive analogs. Screws and connections do not seem to be reliable in a long term perspective, but with the experience that I have (5 years of 2-4 gigs a month) I can say that the carefull use is a must for every hardware piece no matter it's level.

Pros:
-No major brand can deliver the same quality for the price. The difference is the 'smoothness' of adjustment. Stability is just as good as of 30-40 euro more expensive analogs.

Cons:
-Nylon and rubber parts look cheap (well, they are actually, no surprise).
-Looks like it's sensitive to overtightening the screws. With the proper use it would last years though.

Overall it's a great option for holding 1-2 cymbals. Totally worth the price.

Good and Stable with a Noticeable Problem
Faisal Al Zarouni 25.08.2023
This Is a Beast of a Stand, it holds my 22” meinl dark ride and 17” and 18” crashes With no Problem! The only thing that bothered me a little is how short the threads were which made it difficult to find sleeves that would accommodate it, find yourself some wide base sleeves since they’re the only ones that fit.

For the beginner and pro

I'm using this for my heavy zildjian ride. It holds it very nice when i'm playing but from time to time it tips over if i not set the legs right.

Pros:
-Cheap
-still standing after a few months of heavy hitting
-sturdy

Cons
- might overturn some of the threading, just be carefull

I would recommmend it for everybody who does not care what brand you are using. It works and does not break your bank!

All I needed

I bought a used intermediate level Pearl drum kit and it was missing a cymbal stand, so I bought this one. I have to say that the quality equals the Pearl ones on the kit (it is not a really good kit, so I assume that the hardware isn't great too, but it's good enough). It actually feels sturdier and more firm than the others.

The rubbered feet give it a good stability and the boom arm works wonders. I don't think my drummer would need a more expensive stand ever. This one is perfect for rehearsing and heavy gigging (trust me, he is a heavy player and the stand remains like new after months of use and abuse).

Nice chrome finish and really easy to set up.

SK
Best stand at this price!
Ste Keloid 12.09.2018
I'm a regularly gigging drummer, and my stands take quite a bit of abuse over time. They're transported in a bag with about 5 more, and have to be set up and broken down quickly. I also play on the harder side of the spectrum, so prefer double-braced, sturdy hardware that won't fail mid-show.

I bought this stand around 6 months ago, and it's been holding a heavy 18" crash since. It's very stable and holds it's own alongside £70 - £90 boom stands by the bigger companies. Although it's basic in design, it does the job, and hasn't failed me once.

There's no flex or twist in the legs, and the boom connection isn't the type to burst apart suddenly if you unscrew too far - terrible in the dark on stage. I found overall the build quality is great, and each joint functions really well. I particularly like the wing-nuts being slightly indented and textured. Helps a lot getting it broken down quickly after a show.

In summary - definitely worth the money!

Solid little stand for the price. Boom arm isn't that long though, feels very stable. Buy this if your on the fence and don't want to spend a lot of money.

Ik was eerst wat voorzichtig om dit statief te kopen, maar na enkele keren op te treden was dit echt niet nodig. Ondertussen nog één besteld. Gewoon doen!
