Not great.
Timcul 03.01.2023
Ok so it is my fault, I really shouldn't have bought this stand, I was driven by cheap price and thought I would give it a go, it was for my 2nd drum kit, which I use sometimes and was a stand short as I didn't want to strip my studio kit which has little room in the studio.
The stand itself is shiny chrome, so that is a plus, but it is very and I mean very lightweight, the tubing is very thin, I could have used it for a light splash or 14in Crash, but it cymbal felts are very small, cymbal holder is very short and worst of all there is no plastic sleeves to protect cymbals from key holing. I recommend paying the extra for a more heavier stand like the Millenium CB-801 Pro Series Boom Stand with better cymbal felts and plastic protection, I was going to give it a 2 out of 5, but I have found a use for it, I am using it as a tom holder using a universal clamp.
If you can live with it being lightweight and possibility of key holing your cymbals then give it ago, if you hit you cymbals hard and use quality cymbals, pay a little extra for a stand.
Excellent quick service from Thomann as always.

EB
Very light stand, for very light use
Edgar Blackdagger 16.03.2023
They are feather light but the alloy is too soft, so th tubes bend very easily and the cymbal securing screw becomes unusable after a couple of months.
And all this in a careful, studio environment, I couldn't imagine them lasting a week in a venue or a rehearsal studio.

If you play softly, with light cymbals and at home, they're a great, cheap solution, but for anything more, you'll have to buy something better.

a
Cymbal stand comes with a rusty hole…
amateurgrooves 29.07.2023
So this stand quality wise isn’t that good, a bit too light and flimsy but for this price it is understandable, yet there’s one thing that irks me which is that the stand’s got a rusting hole near the base which really isn’t acceptable. Fortunately it doesn’t affect the functionality so I’m giving it a 2 star in terms of quality

Its ok for light use

I bought this just to connect a clamp and its doing the job fine. If you are not a hard hitter or not willing to put a heavy cymbal on this you will not have problem. The quality of this hardware is not forever.

What I was looking for

It's not great, the levels aren't really that easy to work arround, but for the price it works fine. If you're on a budget it's great. If not, maybe waste a bit more for a better stand.

Decent budget stand, ideal for home use....
Wookie Ulrich 13.10.2015
A cheap but effective cymbal stand ideal for a child's first kit and/or home use.
I easily managed to place a Stagg 17" DH China on this stand for live performances/studio, but wouldn't recommend for regular live work, die to the construction of the tubing, and quality of plastic cymbal seat/felts.
Great for simple uses though.

A
Great stand for the very low price. Would be fine for practice at home!

A great stand for very little money. It would be ideal if you are setting up and leaving in one place. Also brilliant as a started stand for a new drummer.

I bought 2 of these and even mounted a 10" Tom off of one and extra cymbals from both. They held up really well so stability is not a problem.

I'm not a fan of the plastic screw down cymbal protector though and prefer the plastic seat type with a traditional wing nut.

There is a good amount if adjustment available on these stands too.

My only criticism really is that parts seem to come loose and need to be screwed back in before you lose them. I think this is only a problem when they are often packed down and set up again though.

Still a great stand for not much money at all.

This stand does not have a good shelf life. It is quite fragile and not very high quality. I didnt expect too much for the price i was paying for it but it is not a good stand. The hardware feels cheap. The rubber pieces on the legs fall off easily and the mechanism for height adjustment is very poor.

I have had a lot of problems with the top of the stand where the cymbal sits. The screws dont stay in place very long and the cymbal slants down when the screw stops working.

In saying that, i actually still use this stand as it is still functioning to a point. I use it for my ride cymbal because i dont need it to be high and i dont need it at much of an angle.

I wouldnt recommend this to harder playing drummers as it can't take the heat. It might be ok for softer players.
