Purchased two of these stands to go on my practice kit and i have to say i am happy as they fulfill their roll. Very adjustable, they go up very high, they are perhaps a bit tall at the minimum setting for my liking, but I've learnt to live with this. On thing to note is that the screw at the top doubles as a cymbal protector and the threaded bit is therefore thinner than most stands and will not take regular wing nuts. Also make sure that you regularly tighten the small screw at the side of each 'level' as this is prone to loosening and falling out and therefore makes the stand swivel around.

Affordable and it does the job quite well
Anonymous 14.03.2016
I bought three stands of this Millenium line (this one, one for Hit-Hats and another for a Ride Cymbal) for my first custom drum set.
Well, I must say that you usally get what you pay for: the stand isn't amazing but it does the job in a superb way. It stays in position and it's relatively easy to handle with the clamps.
The only complain I have is in the topper memory clamp - it resists to the movement, and got a little bit loose by now (probably because it has been used too many times).
You can perfectly use heavy cymbals. You may want to glue the rubbers on the bottom because they probably are going to fall.
The delivery was very good and quick. In this range of prices it's surelly one of the best options if you want a reliable stand for your cymbals.

It is a good quality stand for the price. Of course, it does not feel as sturdy as other stands (it is thin) but it does its job while playing and stays in place even if you play the crash a lot. For this price and if you look for a cheap solution this stand is the way to go.

Excellent Value
Andrew5518 06.01.2015
Use this stand in a live environment often and it has stood the rigors of playing very well. Purchased initially because it was the most affordable stand I wasn't expecting much however on receiving the item I was pleasantly surprised with its sturdy construction. For the gigging musician who's gear is getting stripped down, bagged up, chucked into vans etc the Millenium products offer great build quality at a very affordable price. Much better than the branded stands I was replacing. I have since bought more Millenium products and was equally impressed with them. As always the service from Thomann was excellent and delivery was quick and easy. I would recommend these products definitely.

Solid for its price
PatrikHR 25.06.2023
I bought one recently and I am satisfied with the stand for its price.
It's legs can spread wide so stability is never the problem. Height is also satisfactory and the stand will be decent for a main crash above hi-hat or a cymbal little above floor tom. It will definiently serve its purpouse for practice, learning or teaching drum set, but not for the stage set.
Overall it is a solid stand and I would definently recommend it for beginners and teachers.

Works great for a 16" crash
Niko A 27.12.2017
I have used this a year before reviewing. I really do not have complaints about this stand when taking the price to account. The lock in the tilting part has failed maybe five times in a year so just keep in mind to tighten it properly. If this was like 60¤ stand this would be unacceptable. But this has never fallen down or anything like that and I have always got it to the position I want it to.

Almost everything great with this stand, except...
Hector M. 16.10.2019
... the wingnut is not as advertised. It came with a plastic sleeve and a not very good looking metal wingnut. Besides of this aesthetic issue, the stand is sturdy and stable, and the price is of course unbeatable.

A decent stand on budget
Anonymous 13.02.2017
If you are low on budget stop searching for a better deal! For it's price tag you get a professinal cymbal stand. Not much else to say. You'll never get better straight cymbal stand for 20 Euros.

Reliable stand with an amazing price
NikMartken 15.08.2018
I bought a couple of this stand for keeping them in the practice room because I wanted something lightweight but sturdy enough to hold some heavy cymbals... Well, I was really surprised by the quality and the stability of these "cheap" stands: I truly believe that this hardware can hold venues pretty well, and also their weight is a good bonus.
Of course, this is not one of the top-end stands, but it does the job in a great way. Probably I will buy the boom version as well...

Good enough for most uses
Anonymous 03.03.2017
I am constantly amazed at the quality of MIllenium products - it's on par with several times more expensive staff!
I own both CS-718 and CS-901 (Pro), and although I'd recommend the Pro one, I have to say that CS-718 is perfectly fine for most uses - the quality of this one is good and if You can't afford CS-901 - buy this one, You won't be dissapointed!
