For the price

For the price, these were awesome. Running a rehearsal studio and live venue we get drummers of different levels in everyday, so when inevitably one put a skin through, this entire pack was £12-13 which saved us a load of money whilst we had them!

Sound isn't going to be the best (Although the snare skin our own drummer now uses) but considering the price this pack was it was worth the price difference.

PJ
Millenium Drumheadpack! Cheap, but...very useful.
Peeter J. 24.12.2013
Totally recommend this set pack for a drum teacher. I explain. Any youngster/beginner who comes first time to a drum lesson will be confused. Too much "drum math", different techniques, exercises list and etc. It´s boring and may
confuse. My idea is let them go crazy on drums and discover that the routine practicing is useful. After a first lesson, let them "Hit as loud as you can, anything you want, as fast as you can" , leave the room for about 10 minutes. I know it sounds barbarous for a regular teacher, but somehow this works kind a positive way (don´t matter young or old). After 10 minutes they usually run out of ideas and understand that drummers making solos do not chop woods (sticks) at random.
Those "first class" drum heads would be great "souvenir" real on hands to brag and show to friends/parents. Despite cheap price these heads have great quality for a beginner...and are very useful!

I ordered bc I was curious what could sound a drum head pack in this price range.
it sounded not so bad, tuned easily in the afternoons for an evening concert.
But after a 30 Min hard hitting (really ) into the gig it sounded like a dead pillow , and seemed like a big crater at the middle of the tom heads, so the rest of the performance relied on the sound engineer.
The snare was decent, no issues.
I get it, it is indeed a cheap drum head pack so use it with caution and moderate strenght and it will stay fresh longer than 1 hour without a doubt.

Sure these don't sound like big brand flagship-line products but at this price there is nothing that could compete with these. Practically the whole kit heads at a price of one head.

I bought these for a rehearsal studio and they sound amazing if you tune them right!
Nice sustain and attack (mostly for the snare).
Overall amazing!

Fine For A Practise Kit...
Jrummer 07.07.2019
These Millennium heads are fine but probably best just used on a "kick-about" kit or a practise kit. Great for beginners due to the price, but not really suitable for gigs or studio work.

Good heads for a low price.

Tom heads:
They are all pretty thin, which gie them plenty of ring. They are not too thin to use as batter heads, i use these both as batter and resoheads and they at least sounded better than my old ones.

Kick drum head:

Again, pretty thin but my kickdrum sounds decent so im not complaining.

Snare head:

It sounds good, coating wears of a bit faster than on more expensive heads, and there is a LOT of ring and overtones. A dampener on the snare though and you get a very nice dry sound.

I do recommend these heads if your old ones looks like the surface of the moon. They don't cost much and will improve the sound.

Got them to replace an old set.

Won't last long but kick drum is fine.

Best used as resonant heads.
