I was looking for a compact, low profile mic stand for amplifiers but I'm sorry to say this one leaves A LOT to be desired.
Even after tightening the axis screw with hand tools and adding electrical tape to the joint.the stand won't stand upright. Even with an SM57 which is not a particularly heavy microphone the stand droops immediately.
Can't recommend - unless your microphone is lighter than a feather.

It doesn't really do it's job very well, with a shure microphone in it, it's not very stable and keeps falling to the sides because it can't stand the weight.

Disappointed
borisiwanow 26.02.2021
Don't mount this with an heavy mic cause it simply won't stand. Mine always fall with my condenser if it's not in the perfect position. You'll simply won't be able to extent. Its also loose. But what could you expect from this cheap device ? It could be allright with a light dynamic mic like an sm57.

Good material is not suitable for an anyway heavy mike it keeps collapsing. I use Rode NT1-A and must prop it up with cable ties.
