Sturdy is the word you'll use to define this product when you first touch it and grab it.
Feels very well produced and the materials though you may think they must be cheap for the price that's not true at all, is very heavy and stable.
I bought It to be used with a Yamaha DD-65 and with some snares in live situations, it is heavy indeed but I prefer it like that because of the increased stability.
The metal doesn't make any sounds that may hijack a recording situation, and is as easy to use as opening it, adjusting, placing and start to play.
Trying to find something bad is really difficult in this product, but maybe opening it is a little hard, a child wouldn't be able to open the legs for example, but an adult mustn't have much trouble.
There's not much more to say about it, that what I've said already, if you need a snare stand and need something really cheap, then this is it without doubting.
