Good bag if taken care of.
JamieM 13.08.2015
This is a good hardware bag. It has served me well with my hardware going from gig to gig. It fits nicely in most car boots with toms and snare, cymbal case and a few other bits and bobs. It could use some handles on each end where the pockets are to make it easier for two people to carry.

I used this to transport a cajon and some other hardware when going to Spain for 3 weeks of gigs. It picked up a small tear in the top right hand side somewhere along the way. I suspect this was caused as a result of luggage handlers and not a flaw in the bags design.

If you mind it and don't over load it with sharp edged stands it will get you by.
It fits my needs well for the moment until I can purchase a hardcase.

Really sturdy, but almost defeats it's own purpose
Anonymous 03.11.2016
Like the majority of millenium products this is very well made and I would recommend it.

There are two small issues however:

1- Because hardware is universally rather heavy, if you fill this over half full, it becomes almost too heavy for one person to lift. Not necessarily the fault of the manufacturers, but an issue nonetheless.

2- a similar issue that makes it similarly difficult to carry is that the straps don't offer any protection for your shoulder and if the bag is heavy it can be painful.

In summery: good, cheap bag, very strong, recommended onlyy if you don't intend to fully fill it up. If you do then opt for one with wheels.

A little flimsy.
Anonymous 20.06.2016
This is a big bag and there is a temptation to fill it!
This would be a mistake as the handles are pretty basic and there is no shoulder strap. The base is hardboard I think and this stops your hardware eating its way out. There is a tendency for hardware to occasionally catch and make holes in the lining. Having said that we have used it to take hardware to music school maybe 30 times and there is no sign of structural failure.

Millenium Hardware Bag is easy to fill and carry. The material is good for this price. The bag is so spacious that it is almost too easy to fill it with too many pieces of hardware that it becomes extremely heavy.

If you need a big bag, get this one
Victor5117 21.10.2016
I wasn't expecting it to be so massive to be honest but it's a nice bag, very resistant and solid.

You'll definitely have all the room you need for your hardware. The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the handles.

Good bag but a bit big
tomatoKetchup 17.06.2016
This hardware bag is very handy and made of good quality material and two extra pockets, greats features for the price.

However I find it a bit too big. The length is perfect but you could easily fit hardware for 3 drum kits inside.

Also be prepared to suffer when carrying the bag, it is really really heavy (get some help from the other members of the bands to make them realize how difficult a drummer's life on tour can be sometimes!).

It's... a bag!
Terribly American 01.04.2024
I needed to order an inexpensive hardware bag to carry my stands around to gigs on short notice. I got this one and it's really good! Enough padding not to destroy any of the stands, but not so overprotected to become expensive. It's a great choice for any practical gigging drummer.

Good value
Anonymous 23.02.2015
This is a good value for a hardware bag. If you lug it around a lot it will break sooner or later, don't expect amazing quality at this price point, that goes without saying. I use it to store my stands, but for gigs I use another bag that has wheels on it.

If you only do gigs occasionally, don't load it to full capacity and don't throw it around carelessly, this is a good choice for you. However, if you're going on a 7 week long European tour, I wouldn't depend on it...

Good

Good bad for trasnporting drum rack or drum stands. The floor is made out of wood, it has 1 big storage space for rack/stands and 2 smaller for patch stuff for drums. The only thing is that it doesn't have wheels so it might be a problem to carry around heavier stands/racks. Otherwise is a good hardware bad.

Great bag
ShawnLane 28.10.2019
This hardware bag is surprisingly sturdy for the money. I pack around 3 boom stands, 1 straight stand, a snare stand, a cymbal boom, a double pedal, a hi-hat stand, a throne, and all my tom legs and mounts. This is well over 100 pounds and this bag handles it like a champ.
