Usefull bit of kit

This ipad holder comes with two fitting, one for attaching to a pole or stand, the other allows it to screw onto the top of a standard Mic stand. I use it on top of a stand, with a Uke hanger below, which allows me to keep all my kit very neatly together when out playing.

The ipad is held firmly, by undoing a screw on the back of the holder and sliding the ipad in, before closing it up and re-tightening. I have fitted an Ipad 1 and a 3 in it with no problem. The ipad rotates easily to landscape and portrait.

The only slight issue is that the corner holder is close to the headphone socket, so you need to use a fairly thin jack plug if you want to get audio out.

The plastic seems strong and has withstood a lot of moving about. I do not bother to take it of the stand when I move it, and I have had no problems yet.

The iPad holder is good but it lacks the hole for the camera. I had to make a new hole in the holder.

Cheap and sturdy holder. Fits perfectly.

I ordered this holder to complement my custom made teleprompter setup. I'm doing a lot of corporate videos and it works as intended.

This fits the iPad perfectly and fits on the mic stand firmly. The problem is when you go to do anything on the iPad it flexes so much it's hard to press the screen in the right place and it feels like it will to break at any minute. I will be getting a stronger iPad stand.

Fits the iPad and mic stand perfectly. Easily adjustable and simple set up. Sometimes the weight of the ipad can drag it down slightly though, so it's important to make sure it's tightened enough.

I used it for an Ipad2, and it was fine.
Not fitted for larger / small tablets (width).
The length is adjustable, but width is fixed.

Good sturdy stand - but only for older ipads

Ordered for my son in law to mount his ipad on a microphone stand to read off lyrics - fits well on the stand & is sturdily constructed. Only problem was it didn't fit his ipad - it is only designed for the older large ipads. It does state on the description for IPAD 2/3 but make sure you are aware before purchasing . It would be good if the ad showed a picture with an actual ipad attached.
However if you have the right IPAD, for the price it is a bargain!!

Excellent for the price

Good solid design. Far better than the 'ball and socket' type, which will start to sag over time. Simple always wins. Holds my ipad3 perfectly and clamps solidly onto my mic stand. Amazing they can do it for this price.

Great iPad Holder

This holder is very good. It does rotate on the mic. stand very well.
It is for the 10.2-inch versions of the iPads, such as the iPad 6th,7th, and 8th gen, but it works also with the 9.7-inch as well.
It's perfect for bands and also for a single musician.
I can say that at this price point this holder is the best.
