I'm a keyboardist (80 kg) who has recently adopted a two-tier rig and likes to sit during performances so I needed a portable, foldable bench that would allow me to play both keyboards with ease. My previous one wasn't cutting it because it wasn't all that comfortable plus it wouldn't go high enough for me to reach the upper keyboard. Or, to look at it another way, my stand wouldn't go low enough but I wasn't about to replace that. I was willing to drop up to 100 ? for a new one.
Enter the Millenium KB-2006 Keyboard Bench. It was dirt cheap, users' reviews were favourable, and the maximum height was plenty for me so I decided to give it a shot, albeit not expecting much. Three days later (kudos to Thomann for fast delivery service) I was pleasantly surprised. The bench is comfortable, sturdy, portable (though fairly big), stable - everything I wanted it to be. The reason I deducted a star for quality is the usage of faux leather and memory foam (which decreases the actual sitting height a bit), which might not withstand the test of time. All in all though, I'm very satisfied and look forward to gigging with it some more.
